The Booze-iers
If you're lucky enough to be heading to Camden to for a gig, we've got some great suggestions for a pre-or-post gig drink.
Capital's London Guide uses reviews from thousands of people across London telling us what places are good, and not so good. But if you think we've missed out on somewhere special in London, let us know!
The Elephants Head, 224 Camden High Street
"One of the better pubs along here. The pub attracts Rockabilly's and Goths and all the characters you would expect to see in Camden. Has a traditional feel inside and the staff are good."
Prince Albert, 163 Royal College Street
"Previously a pretty horrible pub which closed down, it has been transformed under new ownership and is now a fantastic but unpretentious gastropub. It offers a wide range of accompanying British & European beers, as well as a decent wine menu, and a range of spirits & mixers."
"I went to this bar some weeks ago during a walk in Camden and my friends and I decided to have a break and drink something in this place. It's really nice, it has comfortable sofas, soft lights and drapes that create the right sensation for a jazz and classical atmosphere".
Edinboro Castle, 57 Mornington Terrace
"This place has a huge beer garden, probably the biggest in Camden. On a nice summer evening it gets jam packed so get there early... The decor inside is pretty cool too. And they sell nice bbq food in the summer".
The Lock Tavern, 35 Chalk Farm Road
"Easily one of my favourite pubs in Camden. Its got a beer garden, roof terrace, good food, stylish bar staff, and DJ and band nights which are always free. The only major downside is that with all this in one place, in one of the busiest parts of Camden, it gets stupidly busy".
