Ghost Town

Not exactly the scariest of movies but it is about ghosts! Bertram Pincus (Ricky Gervais), is a dentist whose people skills leave much to be desired.

 

When Pincus dies unexpectedly, during surgical proceedure he is miraculously revived after seven minutes, but he wakes up to discover that he now has the annoying ability to see ghosts. Even worse, they all want something from him, particularly Frank Herlihy (Greg Kinnear) who pesters him into breaking up the impending marriage of his widow Gwen (Téa Leoni).

 The good bits:  Gervais has picked the perfect film for his Hollywood debut proving he is a funny, charming and convincing leading man.   
The bad bits:  Well, it is a Hollywood movie and so the story does get a little cheesy towards the end.
Any hotties?  Not unless Ricky does it for you.
