Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa

The sequel to the 2005 original film Madagascar about the New York zoo animals, Alex the Lion, Marty the Zebra, Melman the Giraffe and Gloria the Hippo. As the animals plan to escape from Madagascar they find themselves in deepest Africa and in the company of Alex's family.

The good bits:  There are plenty of cute parts for the kids to enjoy such as flashbacks to Alex's cubhood, interspersed with great comic moments for the adults.
The bad bits:  The movie doesn't quite match the brilliance of other Pixar/Disney animations such as this year's Kung Fu Panda.
Any hotties?  Hmmm, they're zoo animals so probably not.
