‘W.’ is the story of George W. Bush; a man who struggled all his life with his personal demons, wrestling with them in his father's long shadow.

A Yale graduate, a transplanted son of Texas, a onetime drunk, a recent convert; how did this improbable person transform himself from reprobate and well-known black sheep of his esteemed family into Leader of the Free World?

 

The good bits: The cast are particularly strong with Brolin giving a brilliant performance as the controversial president without becoming a caricature.
The bad bits: The tone of the movie is a little confusing - sometimes comedy, at others melodrama but overall a bit too safe for our liking.
